Dumplings (to accomodate hot pot / stew)

1 ½ cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
pinch salt
50g butter or dripping
1/2 tsp mixed herbs (optional)
milk or water to mix

Rub butter into flour, salt, baking powder mix. Add milk or water till thick dough. drop into stew or hot pot half to three quarters of an hour prior to stew or hot pot is cooked. Serves four.
